Lakes Boathouse is situated on the West shore of Lake Windermere within the grounds and gardens of Fellborouh Cottage.
The property is surrounded by idyllic countryside and is situated between Far Sawrey and Graythwaite.
Once through the main gates, Lakes Boathouse has its own drive, with parking for two cars. Guests have the use of two dedicated garden areas, a lakeshore picnic area with a fire pit, and if required a jetty to moor a small boat.
Lakes Boathouse is a traditional lakeside timber construction built in the early 1900’s to facilitate the storage of boats out of the water. A large proportion of this boathouse has been completely redesigned to create the most up to date accommodation of the highest quality, whilst incorporating the welcoming atmosphere of a comfortable home.
All the rooms have views of Lake Windermere and the fells beyond, one bedroom has its own balcony directly over the lake, where swans, ducks and ducklings swim peacefully below, and there is an outdoor terrace overlooking the lake, for outdoor eating.
